Welcome to The Bowen Room

Thank you for visiting The Bowen Room.

This site will introduce you to the Bowen Technique, help you decide whether Bowen is right for you, and tell you how to contact me if you'd like to make an appointment or find out more.

Bowen is a gentle, relaxing therapy that can help with a wide range of physical problems. Not only that but it can leave you feeling relaxed, revitalised and ready to take on the world again.

A Bowen treatment lasts about forty-five minutes to an hour. The first session includes an assessment and may take up to an hour and a half.

Appointments are usually carried out in my permanent treatment room at home. The rural surroundings of the Peak District National Park provide a peaceful environment that will help you relax and get the most from your Bowen treatment.

Some of the people who have been treated using Bowen only decided to try this form of therapy having exhausted the usual options, or because they've been suffering for a considerable amount of time without significant or permanent relief.
For many of those people, Bowen has made a dramatic improvement to their lives when they least expected it. Perhaps it can help you, too.
