Hi. My name is Hilary Marchant. I live and work in the Peak District in Yorkshire with my husband, our son, and an assortment of dogs and cats.
I have a strong affinity with the countryside, its animals and their wellbeing. The bird-feeders are always busy in my garden and the hedgehogs know where to come for a good meal!
After being treated with Bowen in 2005 I was so impressed by the results that I began researching the technique further. From there I decided to train as a therapist and eighteen months later I became a qualified Bowen practitioner.
I usually work from home in a room dedicated to Bowen treatment although I do travel to clients sometimes if they find it difficult to come to me. Because of my location people typically come to me from a wide area including Sheffield, Manchester and Leeds.
I believe my clients deserve the very best care I can provide so I regularly attend seminars and lectures given by highly experienced medical practitioners and well-established, successful Bowen therapists.
I have long history of working with horses so after qualifying as a Bowen practioner I went on to spend another two years training in Equine Muscle Release Therapy (EMRT). It's been adapted specifically for horses from the original Bowen Technique for humans and it's proving to be just as effective. Many horses, from those with emotional issues to those with physical conditions and ailments, have been given a new lease of life after being treated using EMRT.
I look forward to meeting you!
